  • How To: Add a strip to your glass and stir. You can also infuse a strip in up to 750ml from 6 hours to 2 weeks. For strongest infusion, add strip to up to 750ml liquor and heat to just below simmering.

    This inaugural edition of Time & Tide began with a season's worth of kelp sustainably harvested off a remote island in Penobscot Bay, Maine. The highest quality blades were then selected and hand-trimmed for this small-batch limited edition offering. Dry aging this live-enzyme food allows the flavors to mature overe time. As a result, you may notice the surface of the kombu is often crusted with naturally occurring salts, sugars, minerals and other flavor compounds — ready to add a complex, aromatic coastal flavor to your spirit, cocktail or mocktail.

    SAMPLE RECIPE

    Sea G&T

    • 2 oz gin
    • 1 strip Time & Tide kombu
    • 3 oz tonic water
    • 1 lime wedge

    Pour gin over ice. Squeeze lime wedge. Add tonic water and kombu strip, then stir. Sit back and savor the cool, pine-scented ocean breeze.
